Logo Breakdown

For DTP Shipping Solutions, the objective was to create a logo that is formal and modern without looking like other shipping company logos.

It was important to design a functional logo that is unique and recognizable - the ability for the logo to be printed on a fleet of trucks/vans as well as office supplies and shipping materials.

While developing ideas, I was looking to see how I could combine their initials, "DTP," in a minimalistic way while still being able to distinguish each letter from one another.

Instead of using a typeface, I created custom shapes. This allowed me to maintain a symmetrical balance between the "d" and "P." To bring the design together, the stem of the "T" was added.

These Logo Mockups provide a practical, real-world application to test if the logo is functional on materials including the web, business supplies, and packaging materials.
