Artist Statement:
Halloween Pals is a part of my 'Pals' Series, which features a Dog and Cat sitting together. I created this piece to capture the spirit of Halloween - spooky trees, a full moon, bats, a spider-web, and a Fall aesthetic were my elements of choice.
Notice how The Pals do not have a shadow. Not including a shadow suggests a ghostly vibe. Are they there? Or, perhaps there's a mystery that needs to be solved.
